Crazybadcuber, a YouTuber, did an experiment to see if cube colour really matters. He used 9 different colours; red, black, white, orange, pink, blue, green, yellow and a stickerless ZanChi (coloured). He took them through 5 solves each then tallied the total of the 5 solves to see if cube colour really mattered. He used different scrambles for each cube, thus making the results slightly unfair, although the final result being the arithmetic mean of five trials somewhat mitigated this.
